This enchanted editorial was straight out of a fairytale—complete with a real wolf, rich forest tones, and a love story to match. Inspired by the timeless tale of Little Red Riding Hood, this moody and romantic styled shoot came to life through the vision of Magnolia Wedding Collective, Mountain Mama Photography, and the design talents of Sarah K Events.
What began as a conversation about wolves and weddings with Rachel of Mountain Mama Photography turned into a creative dream—a whimsical, fantasy-meets-elegance shoot nestled at Cacapon Resort State Park. With lush florals from Petal Pushers, rich velvet textures, and handcrafted charcuterie from The Cut-n-Board, every detail nodded to the storybook theme.
A highlight? Alma, the real wolf from Ohio Canid Center, who posed beautifully beside real-life couple Maddie and David—adding authentic magic to this woodland romance. From the velvet hooded cape by The Valley Bride to a sugar-sculpted wolf by Tiers in Heaven, the creativity of each vendor made this fairytale vision a stunning reality.
