Whimsical. Fanciful. Delicious. These are just a couple words to describe our styled shoot inspired by Lewis Carroll’s classic “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. However, the best word of all to describe this adventure is EPIC!
Kentlands Sans Souci, located in Berryville, VA, surrounded by the beauty of the Shenandoah Valley, served as the perfect backdrop for this over-the-top styled shoot representing several local businesses. When Magnolia Wedding Collective announced we were planning an Alice inspired shoot the response was wonderful. So many people loved the idea and wanted to get in on the action. That started a months-long planning and pinning process that ended up in hard work and shear magic.
The talent that this valley contains is astonishing. The people that came together to pull off this vision was exciting and humbling; from Shades of Blue hanging books in the trees to Annie at Grand Rental flipping the tablescapes from one look to another in a matter of minutes was incredible. We had cold fireworks, grand horses with a carriage, amazing desserts, specialty cocktails, giant mushrooms, and so much more! Images by Madison graciously moved from one set to another capturing each detail it what seemed like a very rushed day. Our team of vendors each took charge and went to work to create a vision. Watching everyone work together so effortlessly was magical in itself!
